Ready for Fieldwork, BPS-Statistics Bone Bolango Regency Trains SKSPPI Survey Officers

Bone Bolango — BPS-Statistics Bone Bolango Regency held the 2026 Special Survey for the Study of Changes in Inventories (SKSPPI) Survey Officer Training on Friday (September 18, 2026). The training aimed to improve the quality of regional economic data, particularly data on changes in inventories used in the preparation of the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) of Bone Bolango Regency.

Head of BPS-Statistics Bone Bolango Regency, Agus Saefulah, opened the training. In his remarks, he emphasized the important role of survey officers in producing accurate and reliable data.

"Inventory data plays a strategic role in the preparation of the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP). Through this training, we hope that the survey officers will gain an in-depth understanding of the survey methodology, act professionally, and carry out data collection carefully in the field," he said.

The one-day training was attended by three participants consisting of BPS employees and statistical partners. The participants received training on the concepts and operational definitions of the 2026 SKSPPI, questionnaire completion procedures, data collection instrument criteria, effective interview techniques for respondents, as well as handling data collection issues and monitoring data quality.

BPS-Statistics Bone Bolango Regency hopes that the training will support the implementation of the 2026 SKSPPI data collection, ensuring that the resulting data are of good quality and can be used to support regional economic development planning. The 2026 SKSPPI data collection is scheduled to take place from September 21 to October 31, 2026, in the sampled areas of Bone Bolango Regency.
